A Money Saving Tip for Healthy Eating

All this fresh produce can be expensive and eating clean is definitely way more expensive than eating crap! I’m flying this weekend and have half a bag of kale left in my fridge. So instead of throwing it away i’ve steamed it all (seasoned with garlic salt and pepper) and when it cools i pop it into sandwich bags and freeze them. Then these ready made parcels are perfect to add to dishes another day. When i land back on monday morning i can just defrost a bag and have the ingredients for a healthy dish on landing day! I add mine to omelettes, home made bolognese and open sandwiches!
